such great heights
I'm finding it very hard to decide between doing the readings for my exam on Monday or giving myself up utterly and completely to the wiles of Neil Gaiman's American Gods. So hard in fact that I've decided to do neither and waste my time blogging instead.
Honestly if there's anything I love, its the worlds that authors like Gaiman and Haruki Murakami paint with words and then anchor in my dreamy head. Talking cats, old men making it rain leeches, mechanical spiders and hard boiled wonderland. Rainbow fishes, forgotten gods, the sheepman and giants orbiting. Dosage at your own discretion. Nice with a little Broken Social Scene. They keep the little boy in me alive.
And the little boy keeps me alive.
