What happens when you put two guys in a kitchen with a block of philadelphia cream cheese, some butter and digestive biscuits?
They make cheesecake thats what they do! Well at least thats what Luke and I did. Today's Eleanor's birthday and since she was the one who so graciously taught us how to make a cheesecake in her house, we decided to pay her back in kind. Of course there were several cock ups, us not having her watchful eye to keep us from blowing up the kitchen anymore. But things didn't go too badly. Well at least as bad as they can when you have the 'a little more can't hurt' mentality. A little more sugar never hurt anyone. And how about a bit more jelly. Hey why not a bit more cinnamon? But cinnamons not in the recipe! Ah what they don't know won't hurt em.
Anyway, her party was great. There was so frikkin much food! I've never eaten so much 'hong siew pai kuat' in one sitting before. I don't think I will again.
