da vinci says suck shit

Dammit I hate the hold that the Da Vinci Code has on Singaporeans. Its like, most people I know have a (willing) literary history of one book. You guessed it. The Da Vinci Code. I mean, yeah its a nice story, but dammit its poorly researched and basically reeks of a Bruce Willis smelly singlet and big gun action movie. And yet its influence is like a disease.
If you'd walked throught Kino today you'd see what I mean. On every shelf there are Da Vinci Code rip offs. Either they have similar titles like Messiah Code or Something Lan Jiao Code, or they have praise from Dan Brown, author of THE DA VINCI CODE. Or the worst. A book with a cover made to look exactly like the cover of the paperback version of the Da Vinci Code. Title also something something code. WTF!!!! Is that all Singaporeans care to read? Well, besides all those freakin perv Chinese comics. Thats fucking pathetic man.
